Anina Potgieter holds a bachelor’s degree in Optometry from the Rand Afrikaans University (now University of Johannesburg) as well as a Certificate in Advanced Studies from the Graduate Institute of Optometry. In her role as an optometrist, she is passionate about delivering top-quality visual examinations and accompanying products. Anina has a special interest in behavioural optometry and practices from a “whole person” or integrated perspective. Behavioural vision is a sub-field of optometry that deals with the understanding of vision as a combination of various physical and neurological skills, rather than just clear eyesight.
Anina loves the outdoors and her happy place is the Jonkershoek mountains. She is married to Corrie and they have two daughters, Lara and Mila. As a family, they all love books, travel and Saturday morning markets.
Subet Ludick is in tasked with all things administrative. She is proficient in the finance department, manages the appointments, keeps stock and does all those “needs to be done” jobs that keep the practice running smoothly.
She enjoys a good book, loves travelling in South Africa and she is the proud mom of two miniature Dobermans and a cat. Subet completed a year of nursing training and has worked as a medical receptionist for several years. She is married to Kobus, whom she met on an overland tour to Namibia.
Jacolien Bartolini qualified as an optical dispenser at CPUT. She has more than 20 years of experience in practice administration, marketing, management and optical dispensing. Jacolien is passionate about finding the perfect spectacle frame for each customer’s personality, lifestyle and optical requirements. She is a mother of two daughters and over the weekends she can be found off-road biking with her husband.
Pinkie Nolubabalo Dawesi is responsible for all the general to-do’s at the practice. She keeps the practice neat and tidy and can be relied upon to greet you with a warm smile. Pinkie is a dedicated mother of two lively young boys. She enjoys spending time with her church congregation and is a trusted pillar in her community.
